Present Simple & Present Continuous (A1+ – B1)
1. Prezentare generală
A. Present Simple – folosit pentru:
- obiceiuri și rutine;
- fapte generale, adevăruri universale;
- programe / orare fixe;
- verbe care exprimă stări *
✅ Forme:
- Afirmativ: I play / She plays
- Negativ: I don’t play / She doesn’t play
- Interogativ: Do you play? / Does she play?
✅ Marcatori frecvenți: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day, on Monday, in winter, once a week…
👉 Exemple:
- I wake up at 7 a.m. every day.
- She plays the piano on Sundays.
- The train leaves at 8:30 a.m.
- Water boils at 100°C.
B. Present Continuous – folosit pentru:
- acțiuni care au loc chiar acum;
- acțiuni temporare;
- planuri personale stabilite în viitorul apropiat.
✅ Forme:
- Afirmativ: I am working / He is working / We are working
- Negativ: I am not working / He isn’t working
- Interogativ: Am I working? / Is he working?
✅ Marcatori frecvenți: now, at the moment, right now, today, this week…
👉 Exemple:
- I’m reading a book right now.
- She is staying in Paris this week.
- We’re meeting our friends on Saturday.
2. Prezentul folosit pentru acțiuni viitoare
În engleză, ambele timpuri pot exprima acțiuni viitoare:
- Present Simple – pentru evenimente fixe, orare, programe:
👉 The train leaves at 6:15 this evening.
👉 School starts at 8 a.m. tomorrow. - Present Continuous – pentru planuri personale, aranjamente:
👉 I’m visiting my cousins tomorrow evening.
👉 Anna is having a meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
3. Utilizări speciale - Present Simple (excepții)
Prezentul simplu este folosit în moduri care nu descriu neapărat acțiuni obișnuite sau generale. Aceste excepții sunt foarte frecvente în limbajul viu →LIVE.
